1) Why is it called Trypillian
Village?
In order
to reflect the emphasis on Ukrainian heritage and culture,
the name of the community is derived from the Trypillian
Civilization, which is viewed as the spiritual birthplace
of today's Ukraine. More than 2,000 Trypillian village
sites have been excavated throughout the country. Scholars
believe that Trypillian villages were mankind's first settlements,
demonstrating the need to live together in order to prosper.
The Trypillian culture and heritage is graphically reflected
in a logo for the community that incorporates the swirling
designs and natural shapes frequently found on the handmade
pottery excavated from the villages.
2) What age must I be to live at Trypillian Village?
Trypillian Village welcomes independent, active seniors
of 55 and older, who are reasonably or very healthy, of
good moral and social character with a desire to enjoy the
type of activities we provide in a community environment.
3) Does Trypillian Village provide any assisted living
or medical care services on site?
Trypillian Village is a residence for active persons of
retirement age who are in reasonably good physical and mental
health, able to live alone and attend to all their personal
needs in their residential unit without assistance.
Regrettably, Trypillian Village reserves the right to decline
the applications of those persons who in our best judgment,
need services and/or care that we are not prepared to provide
for them.
Prospective residents should be aware that the community
is accessible to two nationally-recognized, state-of-the-art
hospitals and an extensive network of physicians and medical
professionals.
4) What about children?
Children living at home who are over 18 years of age are
welcome.
5) Must I be a member of the parish?
One of the benefits of living at Trypillian Village is proximity
to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church
and the opportunities it provides for spiritual enrichment,
social interaction and the celebration of Ukrainian culture.
6) What about lawn care and snow removal?
At Trypillian Village we want to make your retirement years
as carefree as possible. Trypillian Village will take care
of the grounds, including landscaping, lawn care and snow
removal.

complete?
Trypillian Village will have approximately 130 townhomes
and condo apartments.
8) How does Trypillian Village compare in size to other
condo, site-built and manufactured home communities
for active adults?
We believe that Trypillian Village community is an excellent
size. Many communities are so huge that all too often facilities
are just "bursting at the seams." Others are
so very small that they lack a sense of community.

available?

Catholic Church: A new but traditionally styled Ukrainian
church featuring an historical mosaic, church bells
and stained glass windows from our former church.

the Ukrainian legacy. It will showcase arts and crafts,
traditional clothing, literature, artifacts and music,

are welcome to initiate and contribute to programs at
the Heritage Center and participation is encouraged.

combination Great Room and social hall with kitchen facilities,

and exercise center, billiard parlor, card and game facilities,
and a computer and business center.
